Matrix Sire's

Lets Start here

Here are some reasons why you may want to do this :

1. You can use any buck that has been collected out here in the world (dead or alive) . your not stuck with what you have on your farm.

2. look at the cost factor of running bucks all year. For the cost of the work performed dureing A.I. and semen straws and  RX your much further ahead then. feeding , careing , hoof triming and smelling those bucks.

 3. How much of your farm is dedicated every year to keeping those bucks seperated from the doe's. Thats no longer a thought with A.I. You can now use that space for your other prized animals. The space that your buck will now take up is less then 24 in x 24 in.  And thats only if you store your own semen.

 4. look at the genetic potential out here, that most of us just cant afford. Ruger sold for $42,000 at the Ryals dispersal sale And Gauge sold for $31,000. we are not in a position to spend that kind of money today. But gauge semen can be bought today for $150.00 a straw .Ruger im not sure of ,but im sure in the near future it will be available. There's ton of great semen out here for sale from $30.00 to $100.00 a straw. Take a look at www.superiorsemenworks.com  or maybe www.thegoatfactory.com

5. Now think about this. when you turn your bucks out with the doe's lets say august 1st you exspect to be haveing babies between january 1st and january 31st. How would you like to be done kidding by the 5th of january. With A.I. you completely control the conception dates which will translate into delivery dates with in a given perameter. They wont be off more then about 5 days unless there's complications.

6. Imagine haveing off spring from a young buck that is barely of breeding age. Lets say his first kid is born when he is only 9 months old. Normally a buck kid could breed as early as 4 months old but he's physically to small to do the job. With A.I. you could collect the young buck and A.I. a doe with it and 5 months later you have the results of that breeding and can make decission's on that young guy before he is even 1 year old.

Synchronization of your doe's

All the doe's that are to be A.I. ed need to be synchronized.  We can do it for you but, its better that you handle this end of things. As long as your breed date falls with in the animals normal breeding cycle you should have no problem just useing Lutalyse.  You can get this at your vet they keep it on hand for cattle producer's. From there its 1 shot IM 11 days prior to the breed date then another shot 24 hrs before . all doe's should cycle/go in heat with in 24 hrs. Despite what your vet may tell you only give 1cc/ml lutalyse per shot. 2 cc/ml total. From there we will be on site and breed the animals as they go in to heat hopefully, most will be in standing heat when we get started.  Lutalyse isnt that overlly exspensive some where in the neighborhood of $30.00 for a small bottle. There are other methods of synchronization however all involve the use of CIDR's which isnt available in the united states untill possibley the end of the year. They can be ordered from newzealand and austrailia but, they may not make it here through customs. The only other thing that we recommend is all your animals be settled in together for about 30days prior to the breed date. And in a perfect world dont overlly stress the doe's afterwards for 30 to 60 days. Any undue stress could cause them to abort. This happens under normal breeding circumstance's but, you could always run your buck with them and he should catch them again at a later date. In this case with A.I. its a 1 shot deal.

The Brass Tax

By now everyone is tired of reading and just wants to know the cost of the procedure. Price's are subject to change but, for now they are as follow's:

$20.00 Trip charge this will cover our mileage from our farm to your's and back up to 30 mile's. After 30 mile's its .32 cents a mile extra.

Or we can do your animals here for you includeing the Lutlyse shots. we kinda prefer haveing them here however its not always that easy for people to get there goats transfered around. Anyways depending on how long they are here there may be some boarding/feeding charges but in general theres no charge for haveing them here for the weekend other then the shots and work performed.

Then its $24.00 per animal that gets done that day. And this does not include semen. It does however include everything we will need for the work itsself. Folks this is intercervical A.I. not a S.I.D. (shot in the dark) with a turkey baester.

We are now offering semen on a limited basis of our own. we have four bucks to choose from currently. Matrix $30.00 per straw .. MAPL Buster $30.00 per straw then we have the Ross county 2007 grandchampion wether producer and 2006 senior doe grandchamp producer. He is an EGGS the sequel son @ $40.00 per straw and RRD doe warrior from the Ryals dispersal sale he was on there cover sale page and a high selling buck at the sale he is priced @ $50.00 per straw

We can receive your semen from your shipper if you like and we are also willing to store your semen for you on a per year basis. We are willing to do as many doe's as the day require's up to 20 a day. By the time number 20 is done it will be time for a break. If more then 20 doe's are to be done we will need to seperate the synchronization process by 1 day. In that event there will not be a 2nd trip charge just the mileage to and from. Now we more then likley would not go home over 21 doe's but 30 or 40 we are doing seperate dates. Any questions dont hesitate to call or email
